The Loft is suitable for up to 3 guests.

The Loft is an 60 sq meter apartment that is all on one level that is accessed via a set of external stairs. 

The Loft apartment is recently completed and is unique in design. It has a large, quiet bedroom with queen bed, a separate bathroom accessed via a corridor leading to the kitchen/living area. There is plenty of storage space for suitcases.

The Loft Apartment is located on the first floor above a detached garage and is accessed via an outside stairway that leads onto a 15sqm decking area with outdoor dining furniture. The Loft is adjacent to our home but all windows look towards open countryside and the apartment is completely private and is not over-looked.

Located between Wakefield and Brightwater near Nelson

Nestled in Mt Heslington Valley on a 16 acre farm. There is a paddock adjacent to the building that has recently been planted with young fruit trees and this is available for guest access. A quiet country road runs past the property and is delightful for both walking and cycling. 

There are no street lights near the property. The apartment has outside lighting to facilitate night time access. 

The night sky is often spectacular viewed from the deck.

A perfect location to explore all that Nelson / Tasman region has to offer.

In the heart of the stunning Nelson/Tasman region, just 5 minutes cycle ride to the Great Taste Cycle Trail, an easy drive from Nelson City and within easy access to three beautiful National Parks. 

The Abel Tasman National Park, The Nelson Lakes National Park and The Kahurangi National Park are all approximately 40 minutes drive from the Last Straw Cottage, making this accommodation a very central choice for family holidays.
